Amazon ECS

Put the service and task definition behind a container deployment in view during code review.

Read the workload configuration

Proofline reads selected ECS services, tasks, and task definitions. The evidence includes the container image references and the roles and network identities the workload declares.

A service’s target-group registration records the container name, port, and health-check grace period. These settings help locate the deployment configuration a code change depends on.

Investigate a changed container port

Suppose a change moves the application’s listening port. The task definition and service registration provide concrete settings to compare with that change.

Target health comes from a separate Elastic Load Balancing source. ECS configuration alone does not show whether a target is healthy or a request reached the new task.

Connect your AWS account

Choose the AWS account and region for the environment under review. Apply the connection’s scoped read-only role, verify access, and check the environment’s evidence coverage.
