What it compares
The deployment identity and its commit on one side; infrastructure evidence and telemetry from the relevant time windows on the other. Proofline reads metrics, logs and traces in place through bounded queries and keeps no telemetry store.
The deployed commit is pinned the same way a change check pins it. A verification never reasons from a branch name.
What an observation says
An observation names the signal, the query and the window behind it, so a reader can repeat it. A quiet window does not establish that every part of a deployment works; it establishes what the cited signals showed during that window.
Required evidence that is missing or unreachable keeps the verification incomplete, and the gap appears as a setup task in the console.
Where answers go
Answers reach the pull request or commit, Slack and the console inbox. Proofline does not page people itself.
Availability
Deploy verification is part of the production-agent roadmap and is not available to new workspaces today. Change checks are available now. Talk to the team about availability.
