Starting points
A firing alarm, a question asked in Slack, or a question on a pull request. Each gives the investigation its subject and scopes it to one environment.
How an investigation proceeds
Proofline reads the exact commits involved, the recorded infrastructure and bounded telemetry windows, then tests explanations against that evidence. Explanations the evidence supports become findings; the rest remain ranked leads, in the order the evidence favours them.
The results are retained with the evidence that produced them. A rerun creates a new record.
What an answer contains
Supported findings and ranked leads, each citing the commits, infrastructure facts and telemetry windows behind it, delivered to Slack, the pull request or commit, the console inbox or PagerDuty incident notes. Proofline does not page people itself and never marks a change as safe.
Availability
Alarm and question investigation is part of the production-agent roadmap and is not available to new workspaces today. Change checks are available now. Talk to the team about availability.
