Kian, Proofline's cloud runtime world model

Kian is Proofline's model of your cloud runtime: what runs where, who can reach what, and which limits bind. Proofline checks every answer about your AWS and Google Cloud environments against it.

Findings about your own environment

Proofline reads your AWS and Google Cloud environments through read-only access that your team grants. It never changes your infrastructure or merges changes.

From that access, Kian models what runs where, who can reach what, and which limits bind. Every answer Proofline gives about an environment is checked against Kian, so findings apply to your own setup.

Clear about freshness and unknowns

Production environments change throughout the day. Kian remembers when something was true, so every answer Proofline gives can state how fresh its evidence is.

When information is missing, Kian says what it does not know and never guesses. Required missing evidence keeps an environment assessment incomplete, while supported findings still publish.

Evidence without safety claims

Every answer Proofline gives cites its code, recorded infrastructure, and telemetry windows. Engineers can inspect the exact records behind each finding.

Neither Kian nor Proofline ever marks a change or a deployment as safe. Proofline reports the risks it finds in your environment and states what remains unknown.

Where Kian is today

Kian is rolling out one capability at a time. Change checks before deployment are available today. Deploy verification, alarm investigations, and scheduled scans for latent production risks are on the roadmap.
