Delete an organization from Proofline

Deleting an organization permanently removes its Proofline environments, connections, reviews, findings, and provider credentials. This cannot be undone.

Check what remains#

Proofline keeps minimized audit records for one year and billing records for seven years. It deletes the Stripe customer and payment methods; Stripe retains historical invoices.

GitHub and AWS resources remain unchanged. Infrastructure evidence already recorded in World is not deleted by this action.

To stop one environment or connection while retaining reviews, use Remove an environment or connection.

Confirm deletion#

1. Open Organization → Admin → Account with an organization owner account.
2. Under Danger zone, select Delete organization.
3. Read the consequences and type the organization's exact GitHub account name.
4. Select Delete organization to reach the final confirmation.
5. Select Delete with the organization's name and permanently only when you intend to remove it.

The final confirmation starts deletion immediately. If the server refuses it, read the stated reason before retrying.
