Find out why a pull request was not reviewed
Open Pull requests not reviewed to see why Proofline did not start a review and what needs to change.
Find the pull request#
Search the list and use the reason filter. Read the recorded reason before changing settings.
If the pull request is absent from Proofline, check the GitHub installation's repository access first. Pull requests closed before installation are not imported into the pull request list.
Resolve the recorded reason#
- Seat assignment: ask an administrator to assign a seat to the author.
- Review settings: check the repository's effective automation settings and whether reviews are enabled.
- Credits: open Billing to check the organization's balance, then inspect seat and review limits.
- Plan credits: the author has used this month's plan credits. In Seats, allow organization credits for their seat or move them to a larger plan. See Assign seats and plans.
- Environment setup: check the repository's environment links and connection readiness.
- Trigger label: the row names who added the label and why no review started. A person without write access to the repository cannot start a review with a label; someone with write access can add it again.
Only change the setting that explains the missing review. A seat assignment does not repair a disconnected environment.
Check the next result#
After resolving the cause, check for a new review of the change. For an existing review, use Rerun review when available.
If the review starts but remains incomplete, inspect evidence coverage rather than treating it as a scheduling problem.
