Set up Slack delivery

Connect a Slack workspace and select the channel that receives deployment messages.

Choose the channel#

1. Open Organization → Connections and find Slack.
2. Complete the workspace connection if it is not installed.
3. Enter the delivery channel's Channel ID.
4. Optionally enter its channel name.
5. Save the changes before sending a test message.

The channel ID identifies the destination. The optional name helps people recognize it in the console.

Test delivery#

Use the test action after saving. Check the selected Slack channel for the result.

No delivery channel means the workspace connection still needs a destination. Setup not finished means the connection needs additional setup.

Disconnect Slack#

Use the disconnect action when deployment messages should stop. Disconnecting also disables actions on Slack messages.

Choose a new channel and save it before testing a replacement destination.
