Connect Google Cloud

Connect Google Cloud evidence sources to the environment they describe, then verify the project setup.

Add a connection#

  1. Open Organization → Connections.
  2. Select Connect Google Cloud.
  3. Choose the target environment and the service to connect.
  4. Enter the project and source details for that service.
  5. Complete the setup shown for the connection.

Cluster connections include the project and cluster location. Other evidence sources have their own coordinates. Check these values against the intended environment.

Connect a GKE cluster#

Enter the cluster details, then choose the repository and namespaces that Proofline should review. Select Download setup script and inspect it before running it.

Paste the script’s output into Cluster identity, then select Verify and connect. Resolve any verification error before treating the cluster as ready.

Apply and verify project setup#

The connections page groups setup under Project installers. Review the installer for the project before applying it through your authorized cloud workflow.

Return to Proofline and run verification. Read the verification report and resolve the reported permissions or source access problems.

Setup not finished means more configuration is required. A saved connection alone does not show that Proofline can read its evidence.

Inspect coverage#

Open the environment's Evidence page after verification. Check source freshness and any collection issues before relying on an environment assessment.
