Choose review models

Choose the models used to generate hypotheses and assess evidence in the review settings. Configure provider access before selecting a model that needs it.

Configure provider access#

Open Organization → AI Model Providers to inspect the available provider connections. Complete the provider setup required for your organization's chosen models.

Keep provider credentials in the connection controls. Do not paste them into review rules, repository configuration, or finding comments.

Choose models#

  1. Open Organization → Reviews → Models.
  2. Choose the proof model.
  3. Choose the model for hypothesis generation, or keep Same as proof model.
  4. Choose the deployment proof model, or keep Same as code review.
  5. Save the settings.

Check repository preferences for any overrides that affect a specific repository.

Set credit limits#

In Organization → Reviews → Models, set the maximum credits per review under Credits. A credit limit bounds the review's work; it does not guarantee a completed assessment.

Under Pull request questions, set the maximum credits per answer and the questions each pull request may ask per hour. An answer that reaches its credit limit ends without a conclusion.

Resolve unavailable options#

If a provider or model is unavailable, check its configured connection before changing unrelated review settings.

A model choice does not expand the review's repository or environment access. An assessment still needs usable evidence for the environment.
